Water is essential to our diet.

We often undervalue the importance of water to our diet. Yet it’s universally known that water is a basic element absolutely essential to our survival. It’s the primary component of every dietary system and our body needs it more than any food.

Every water’s vitality and chemical and physical differences mean that we must consider the necessities of our body. We need to drink at least two liters of water a day, which helps us eliminate toxins and makes our bodies work better. As it is so important to our body, the choice of what water to drink is absolutely fundamental to a healthy and balanced diet.

Italian law classifies mineral waters as “mineralized” (with fixed solids above 500 mg per liter), “low mineralized” (between 50 and 500 mg per liter) and “minimally mineralized” (solids less than 50 mg per liter). For everyday drinking a light, minimally mineralized water is recommended.
